The Templeton Gate - BooksOnline - Science Fiction Book Club

Along with its association with amazon.com, The Templeton Gate is also now an associate of the booksonline.com group of book clubs. Further down the page I will provide links to other sections of that company, but the club which is most appropriate for this site, and which should interest the majority of visitors here, is The

Science Fiction Book Club.

Unlike with amazon, our association with booksonline will benefit us just once per customer. The Templeton Gate will get a credit for any new member who joins one of their clubs through the links provided here, but not on any subsequent purchases. So it will not matter whether you stay with the club for fifty years and buy twenty-five books a year, or just buy the minimum required for membership and cancel after that time. We will still get the credit just once, when you join and pay for your initial selections. There are just two drawbacks to membership with one of these clubs: you will be committed to buying a certain number of titles over the next few years, and also, at this time none of these clubs accept memberships from persons residing outside of the U. S. and Canada. I do not know if that will ever change, but if not, our foreign friends will not be able to take advantage of these clubs.

I'm not going to provide individual titles here, since it does't matter if you buy any I would recommend or others, and they also are continually adding titles and dropping others, so I don't want to have to edit this page too often either. Suffice it to say they have a wide range of books, both science fiction and fantasy, along with several other categories, including non-fiction and art books, as well as scores of Star Wars and Star Trek titles, and enough books about vampires, werewolves and other creatures of the night to keep you scared of the dark from now 'til doomsday. Also, The Altiverse contains books related to graphic novels, comics and comic art. Just click on the "Browse Categories" tab, or the "Search" tab on their website if you have a specific author or title you are looking for.
